The Karcher/Windsor BVL 5/1 Bp is a cordless, battery-powered backpack vacuum sold by Carmen's Vacuum. Its expanded polypropylene (EPP) frame construction keeps carrying weight down compared to conventional backpack designs, and the ergonomic carrying frame adjusts for right- or left-handed operation.

The 36V Power+ battery pairs with a fast charger for approximately one hour of run time per charge; an extra battery (sold separately) extends run time between charges. A 500-watt motor drives a 1.3-gallon container, and the brushless EC drive is built to reduce maintenance and wear. A control panel on the waist strap puts all operating functions within reach during use, and an optional HEPA-14 filter is available for higher-filtration applications.
