The Sanitaire 30517A is an OEM motor gasket seal for Sanitaire Tradition series commercial upright vacuums. The gasket forms an airtight seal at the motor housing; when worn or cracked, suction performance drops noticeably. Replacement is recommended whenever the motor area is accessed for service, or when suction loss cannot be traced to the bag or filters.
