The Sanitaire 12-inch magnet strip mounts to the front of the vacuum base and attracts metal debris such as nails and staples before they enter the machine. This protects fans, bags, and belts from damage caused by metal objects picked up during use.

Designed for SC600 and SC800 series Tradition Series uprights. The strip can be trimmed with scissors to fit narrower openings; order additional strips for wide-path vacuums exceeding 12 inches. Each package includes one 12-inch strip and self-tapping screws for installation.
